Labadie Grapevines owner, Karen Siess, has
resided in Labadie, Missouri for over 15 years where she and her husband Jim
are raising their children. Jim was raised on a family farm in
Labadie. Their passion for wine began while on their honeymoon in Wine
Country many years ago and their experience strengthens with every wine
tasting they host.
Karen decided to open Labadie Grapevines in early 2008 to provide
the area with better wine choices. Karen says "I have found something
I am really passionate about". Karen and Jim's passion shows as soon
as you step in the door at Labadie Grapevines.
Labadie has become a destination for many due to the charming and
historic features of the town. There are several wonderful dining
establishments and shops carrying specialty items not available in other
places in Missouri. The town offers art from local artist, specialty
meats and jerky, cheeses, pet gifts and a great small town atmosphere.
